Trip to Africa

In 2018 Katura was invited by a local film company to visit the King of Kings school in Beria Mozambique, where they filmed Katura’s experience at the school, meeting the children she sponsored and getting to know day to day life.   Little did she know that the decision to go would change the direction of her life, give her a passion and so many other opportunities.   The trip showed her for the first time the challenges girls face in the developing world, and she said….. 

Knowing what I now know, how could I come home and do nothing… 8×8 to Educate was born!
