While I am humbled to be recognised among my peers for the work that 8×8 To Educate is doing, it is the art community, artists, volunteers, sponsors and supporters that truly help the girls in the developing world access education and give volume to quiet voices. I hope that the work we are doing will provide a group of well educated women who will help to make policies, businesses and become activists to change the outcomes for thousands of girls just like them. I am just a small part of a very big machine.
